Four Mid-Round Prospects the Titans should target in the 2024 NFL Draft!

We've talked a lot about potential day-one and day-two draft targets for the Titans. Though day three of the draft isn't as thrilling as the first two, it's still a valuable time to build depth and find raw talent that could develop into starters one day. Here are four players the Titans should target in the mid-rounds of the draft!

Duke.COM

DeWayne Carter, DT Duke

Carter was among the biggest winners of the Senior Bowl in February, displaying immense power and an extremely high motor. The 23-year-old's versatility is off the charts, as he has played all over the defensive line at Duke and even has experience playing outside of the tackle. His run defense is much more refined than his pass-rushing, so he'll need some development and must expand his pass-rushing repertoire. Carter will start as a rotational piece on Dennard Wilson's defense but will have the ability to develop into a future starter.

DRAFT PROJECTION: Late 4th-Early 5th

Arizona.COM

Jacob Cowing, WR Arizona

Cowing's 5'8, 168-pound frame is concerning, but there's no denying the former Wildcat's ability to separate. Deemed the best separator in the 2024 class by PFF, Cowing had an 81% man coverage separation rate in 2023 and posted 848 yards and 13 TDs. The 23-year-old will fit Brian Callahan's modern-day offense, which utilizes a number of four wide receiver sets. His size is a question mark, but Jacob Cowing could be a hidden gem in a loaded wide receiver class.

Jarvis Brownlee Jr, CB Louisville

Brownlee is one of the most competitive and aggressive corners in this draft. The former three-star recruit went to Nashville for a Top 30 visit with the Titans and would fit the mold of a Dennard Wilson corner. The former Cardinal allowed just 19 receptions in 2023 on 538 defensive snaps and also gained experience in the slot. A developmental piece that will provide adequate depth and a competitive fire.

DRAFT PROJECTION: 5th Round

Khyree Jackson, CB Oregon

My favorite under-the-radar prospect in this draft is Oregon CB Khyree Jackson. The 6'4, 194-pound corner was lockdown in 2023, allowing a 41.6 passer rating when targeted and a 50% completion rate on 520 defensive snaps. A lengthy and physical corner that could become a starter on Dennard Wilson's defense.

DRAFT PROJECTION: Late 3rd-Early 4th

Trevin Wallace, LB Kentucky

Trevin Wallace's athleticism and tenacious playstyle would fit Tennessee's new attacking defense under Dennard Wilson perfectly. The former Wildcat totaled 80 tackles and 5.5 sacks in 2023 and plays with violence and passion on every single snap. Another extremely raw talent that will need development but could be a good find on day three.
